Certis Australia x Reconciliation Week 2023

25 May 2023

Certis Security Australia is committed to delivering on the promises made in our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

We firmly believe in building, and continuously strengthening our relationships with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities (First Nations Communities), as an organisation of fellow Australians. With this in mind, our RAP is in the fabric of Certis in Australia, and we consciously recognise and work together with First Nations communities in all areas of the business.

With Reconciliation Week coming up, from 27 May to 3 June, 2023, we are dedicated to giving back to the communities we work in and together with, as well as to do our part in giving back to the wider First Nations Communities in Australia.

In this time of acknowledgement, reflection and learning, the teams at Certis Security Australia will mark this commitment with a “Wearing it Yellow” campaign. During this week, our Teams across the country will don yellow at least on one day in the week as a show of support to this cause.

Beyond the solidarity in a common colour, we also have a series of ground-up initiatives, including a series of fundraising events to assist in the establishment of learning programs and the supply of learning materials for underprivileged children and youths within First Nations Communities who have limited access to essential learning supplies.

As Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the RAP committee at Certis Australia, we are looking forward to working with team members across the country to drive our initiatives. As representatives of our Certis Security Australia community, we believe that everyone in Australia should have equal opportunities for learning as a means for a good start in life, and a better tomorrow.

Join us in being the voice for change during National Reconciliation Week, and together, we can create a better future for underprivileged children and youth in Australia’s First Nations Communities. Let us come together and contribute to giving them fair opportunities for learning and living. Discover Certis Australia’s initiatives, events, and partnerships aimed at promoting understanding, respect, and collaboration.

Wear it Yellow with us, and donate generously to our supported non-profit, Childrens’ Ground through the various fundraising activities that will be organised by our different national offices.
