The Annual Airport Celebration 2018 was on 13 February 2018 at the Ritz Carlton with Guest-of-Honour, Minister for Transport, Mr. Khaw Boon Wan. It was an important event in the aviation industry as it brought together service partners of Changi Airport Group (CAG) in recognition of the hard work put in the last year to make our airport the best in the world.
Certis CISCO Aviation Security creates history
Bagging a total of 6 awards, Certis CISCO Aviation Security took home not only the coveted Service Personality of the Year, but also a newly created Special Commendation Award in a Silver Jubilee segment – a first in the 25-year history of the AAC.

Beyond the call of duty
This year’s Service Personality of the Year is Aviation Security Officer (AvSO) Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trang. It is the highest individual accolade a service personnel in Changi Airport can receive. AvSO Trang went above and beyond to perform CPR on two separate occasions and successfully saved two lives at Changi Airport. She also took home the Changi Hero Award, and it is a testament of her dedication to the job, as well as her passion for service excellence.
Security excellence at Certis CISCO’s core
As Certis CISCO celebrates 10 years of securing Singapore’s Changi Airport, it prides itself not only on its high level of security, but also its focus on service. The awards are a timely recognition of Certis CISCO’s commitment to consistent service delivery as it embarks on its next decade of partnership with CAG.
